Job Description:
Must have exposure to formal test techniques, Analyze Requirements and Specifications
Should be strong in writing and executing manual test cases
Strong problem solving skills
Develop automation strategy / effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Functionality testing tool and Test management tool
Capable of Performing regression testing and test framework in Functionality testing tool
Executes and maintains existing test scripts
Test management database
Execution and analysis of automation test results
Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using Test management tool
Support production deployment of applications and perform "validation testing" during the off-hours maintenance windows
Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
Participating in weekly team meetings and planning meetings as needed, sharing system matter expertise with QA team members
Knowledge of the following technologies would be an advantage: - Client/Server Systems - Database Management Systems in a structured test environment
