VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for System Administrator for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Qualifications and Experience:
• BS or MS in computer science
• Five or more years proven experience in IT System Administration (Unix and Windows Environment)
• Should have experience of two years in thin Client technologies (Citrix, Metaframe 6.x environments
• Hands on experience with HP, Unix 11.x and windows 2008 commands and scripts
• Experience in clustering with HP or UX environment is a must.
• Experience in HP data protecter, or similar backup software is a must
• System Administrator experience in both windows and unix environments such as but not limited to: adding and removing user accounts, using backup programs, maintaining system database files (Groups, hosts, aliases), tuning performance, reviewing logs, …
• Experience with linux and windows 2003 or 2008 servers
• Experience with San environments HP EVA 4000 storage is a plus
• HP-UX certification and / or other unix certification are considered as a plus
• Microsoft and/ or citrix certification are considered as a plus.

Joining time frame: Maximum 4 weeks
