We have an immediate opening for Senior Firmware QA Engineer with a fortune MNC company in Chennai.

Position: Senior Firmware QA Engineer 

Work Location: Chennai

Required Experience 
Atleast 7 years of experience in Consumer Electronics as a developer or qa engineer 
Atleast 3 years of demonstrated leadership
Experience using Oscilloscopes, Multimeter, Spectrum Analyzer is a must
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
BS in computer science or engineering or equivalent minimum
 
Desired Experience        
Experience with Wifi, USB testing highly desired
Experience with PIC and ARM processor based Firmware design/testing highly desired
SW development and or Automation experience is a plus 
Experience with C, Java and/or  Linux highly desired
Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum, XP, Test-Driven Development a plus
Responsibilities
Define overall firmware test strategy 
Coordinate the qualification efforts within the larger QA team
Represent QA in bug triages and design reviews
Write and execute detailed firmware testplans and testcases
Test compliance to USB, Wifi, AV control IR and other protocol specs
Joining Time: ASAP (Maximum 20 days)
