Radiant Info system Limited invites ATG Support Engineer Specialists with following skill set: 
 

An exciting opportunity to work as an ATG Support Engineer within the Application Support team for one of the UK’s largest online retailers has become available. Working as part of the team responsible for delivering a challenging new project the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the new ecommerce platform in a large scale enterprise architecture.

Experience

The Ideal candidate will have a degree level qualification (2:1 or above in Computer Science or a related discipline). An excellent technical background and understanding of web based technologies, with a minimum of 2 years experience delivering or supporting a large scale ecommerce implementation. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a high pressure and fast pace environment and have a proactive approach to problem solving. 

Day job

Working as part of the Application Support team, your day to day role will involve working as a technical expert in the 2nd line support function and supporting the production environment. You will be required to quickly gain understanding of new technologies ensuring they are supported in a logical, manageable and efficient way.  This role would be ideally suited for an experience Java developer looking to move into a first class IT service and operations team. 


Essential skills – Must Have

•	Proven track record in supporting a large scale ecommerce platform 
•	The ability to troubleshoot complex problems and provide robust solutions. 
•	Java Application Server – JBoss 
•	In-depth Windows server administration knowledge. 
•	Application and Database deployment experience 
•	Understanding of the SDLC (software development lifecycle) 
•	High attention to detail, process driven 


Highly Desirable Skills

•	ITIL qualifications. 
•	ATG – Ecommerce Platform experience. 
•	Oracle Database Admin 
•	Java Development 
•	Scripting experience in any of the following – Perl, Shell, Batch, Python, ANT, (Or Similar) 
•	Release management process 
•	Understanding of large scale IT infrastructure
