Job Description:

To perform complex graphic artwork in the design and creation and production of website designs, banners, newsletters, logos, icons, displays, charts, promotional materials, and other such artwork. This job class requires working knowledge of graphic software packages, skill in creating websites, visual materials and presentations, and knowledge of best practices in website production.


The candidate is expected to have knowledge of:

 Principles and techniques of graphic design and production and communication theory including a basic understanding of marketing and promotional concepts
 Applicable software programs including, but not limited to, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop, QuarkXPress, Page Maker, Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and other software programs
 Computer hardware systems and peripheral equipment including digital camera scanners, and CD burners
 Basic copyright laws applicable to design work and creative properties
 Proper English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and sentence structure

PROFILE OF CANDIDATE

Generally, any combination of education and experience that could provide the required knowledge and abilities is considered qualifying.

The candidate should possess 6+ years of relevant experience & must be able to lead a team - internal (employees) & external (service providers / freelancers). Excellent written and verbal communication & social skills to interface with senior management in client organizations are essential. Felicity with numbers and strong analytical skills are desirable.
Candidates with lesser experience can be considered for Internet Marketing Specialist positions.
