Job Description:

We are having an urgent position with our client DuPont India - IT Development Center (http://in.dupont.com) for Gurgaon location.


Position - SAP ABAP Developer/Senior Developer with BW knowledge


Skills - SAP ABAP with BW knowledge

1) How different this position is from normal ABAP developer?

Not very different .. just that he/she must have worked on BW related ABAP work - creating function module, extracted data from BW data sources etc.

2) If ther person has developed Supply Chain modules would that be sufficient?

Plus other stuff in BW as stated above 

- Experience of ABAP/4 and ability to design and develop ABAP Logic/ Minor Programs. 
- Knowledge of BW Solutions including Data Extraction from Source Systems, BW Modeling using Administrator Workbench and Reporting
- Ability to Conduct Requirements Workshops to gather Requirements and develops Level 1 and Level 2 Specifications for implementation. 
- Strong Experience in Extraction of Data from SAP R/3, APO and non-R/3 Systems. 
- Excellent Problem Solving and Analytical Skills for troubleshooting of problems and Recommend/Design appropriate Solutions 
- In-depth knowledge of at least one or more SAP process areas. 
- Well versed with Database Fundamentals to help in design of Efficient and Effective Extraction and Reporting Solutions. 
- Ability to lead and work directly with technical development and support teams, effectively driving the adoption and implementation of recommendations 
- Effective oral and written communication skills
