Urgent opening for 'Cognos BI Tool Administration for key applications'

Year of Experience - 4 to 7 yrs

JOB LOCATION - Bangalore


Job Description: 

- Proficient programming in scripting languages such as Korn, C shell or Perl. 

- Minimum of four years experience in Cognos Series 7 BI Suite administration. 

- Minimum two years experience in Cognos ReportNet administration in UNIX environment. 

- Experience installing / configuring Cognos products in window sand AIX environment 

- Performance tuning of applications and capacity planning. 

- Account management and access control. 

- Experience in using Cognos scripting language 

- Minimum one year experience in installing IBM Websphere application server and installing and configuring Java based applications in Websphere environment. 

- Configure and manage database systems as per security guidelines and industry best practices. 

- Follow ITIL process in the system administration and need to be familiar with ISO 20000 and ISO 24001 processes including maintaining up-to-date documentation. 

Qualifications: 

- Experience in administering Cognos Series 8.X in Linux environment is plus. 

- Experience in administering of Informatica ETL tool is plus 

- Experience in supporting BI tools including Cognos Series 7.X, Series 8.X , ReportNet from database perspective is plus
