Position : SyncShare Performance Test Engineer

Description: 
Join a highly motivated international team responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software for location based services in back-end servers and mobile devices. We are looking for an experienced server performance testing engineer with strong background in back-end server performance optimizations.

Key Job Responsibilities/Skills: 

• This person will measure the performance of system components under different load and traffic profile circumstances, and try out different deployment structures and configurations to find optimal setup for the system.

• Prior experience on measuring and optimizing system performance is appreciated.

• The job requires communications skills/negotiation skills. 

• You will work in close collaboration with other quality assurance people, SW engineers, product manager, and front-end developers.

Desired Profile	
Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor / Masters degree in engineering with 7 (+/-2) yrs of relevant exp

• 4+ yrs of exp in LAMP stack and testing web applications (REST based)

• Experience of performance and load testing highly desired. Usage of tools like loadrunner / JMeter

• Perl / Shell scripting basics

• Code instrumentation using tools like coverity / CTC

Desired Skills:

• Agile methodologies like SCRUM

• Virtualization

* BE or ME graduate/post graduate from accredited college or technical institute.
