Software Engineer (SE) - DWH

Job Description:
Experience in a SQL Server developer/programmer role in an IT department engaged in medium to large sized projects
Performs development, implementation and support of application systems. Creates stored procedures or ETL process of moderate complexity and scope, working with or contributing to application systems designs and specifications, and utilizing standard procedures and techniques.

Work Experience:
· Possess 2 to 4 years of work experience which involved writing, debugging complex SQL Queries and stored procedures
· Complete hands-on on DB tools like Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Oracle.
· Experience in Data warehousing and ETL/DW tools like Informatica is an added advantage.
· Should have good exposure to SDLC and quality processes.
· Experience in creating test strategies and test plans
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.

Education: BE / B Tech / MCA

Skills and Competencies
· Strong Technical and Analytical Skills
· Strong knowledge on Data Warehouse concepts and implementation details
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
· Eposure to all phases of project life cycle
· Excellent knowledge on DB tools like Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Oracle.
