Business Intelligence Job Description
In this position the applicant will join a team that is developing Data Warehouse and Reporting solutions to support critical business areas within the organisation.
• Design, Develop and Support Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse initiatives across the organisation, including but not limited to:

• Propose architectural design and plan roadmap for Enterprise Datawarehouse

• Design Data model, ETL routines and Business Objects Universes to support business reporting and analysis. 

• Build Business Objects Web UI and Webintelligence Reports. 

• Supporting Business Objects Solutions and Server Architecture and Infrastructure.

• Balancing multiple and competing priorities

• Supporting daily Data Warehouse ETL processes with evening and weekend on-call responsibilities.

• Collaborating with other team members, team leads, managers and business representatives to determine requirements, schedules and project timeframes
Job Requirement



• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, other related field or equivalent work experience.

• Hands-on experience with Data Modelling and Database.

• Hands-on experience with Business Objects Enterprise version(s) upgrade. 

• Hands-on proven experience with Business Objects XI R2, Data Integrator, OLAP Solutions, Web Development (.Net and ASP), Windows, UNIX, EDI, Oracle and SQL Server platforms. 

• 5 to 10 years implementation experience on Business Intelligence platform.

• Advanced SQL knowledge, Query Optimization.

• Possess technical thought leadership in solution-ing and roadmap planning.

• Effective problem solving, data analysis and issue resolution skills.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. 

• History of meeting deadlines in uncertain environments, and delivering high quality results. 

• Ability to manage time effectively according to priorities and timelines.

• Strong documentation skills is a must.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
