PRODUCTION SUPPORT ANALYST (AS400)
The position is at a large investment bank in Singapore
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
- Provide application support 
- Analysis of production application issues and provide solutions to address business needs or to resolve application issues
- Procedures and system documentation
- Perform User Acceptance test with users
- Support regression testing
- Support BCP and disaster recovery testing

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Tertiary education in an IT related discipline
WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:
- Candidates must have minimum 3 - 5 years production support experience dealing with users directly.
- Minimum 3 years IT experience in financial industry 
- Hands-on working experience with:
-  AS/400, Cobol/400 and CL/400
- Unix and Shell Scripting
- Database and SQL

Investment banking experience in Treasury products would be ad added advantage
TECHINICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Proficient in AS/400, Cobol/400 and CL/400 
Proficient in UNIX and UNIX scripts
Proficient in Database concepts, proficient in SQL
Exposure to Sybase, C, C++, Informix, Business Object, and Tuxedo would be an advantage
