Position : Project Manager - Microsoft Technology
Experience : 10+ Yrs
Work Location : Gurgaon
The work involves:
. Delivery of IT systems and business functionality. Delivery involves management of IT staff through the full project lifecycle.
. Manage development projects from inception to completion and ensure they can be adequately supported. Gather requirements, design and build bespoke solutions.
. Manage team of developers and monitor performance and development plans.
. Manage customer expectations at all times
. Suggest and implement initiatives to improve the development process
Essential Skills: (Must have skills):
. 10 years + internet/intranet Project Management experience in .Net, C# technology with Oracle or SQL Server as backend.
. Management of project life cycle, including Design, Implementation, Test and Introduction to Operation, including required signed approvals.
. Monitor and manage the performance of development team resources, including the company and third-party resources, including intervention and escalation, as required.
. Experience in Agile development methodology
. Support coaching and career development of permanent employees, including individual and team skill-gaps and assimilation of new technology skills.
. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key business stakeholders, including managers and end-users as required.
. Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the Information Technology Function, including Technology Development, Technical Services and Technology Support functions, as required.
. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, including application vendors, software development houses, contract staff providers and consultancies, as required.
. Participate in recruitment activity - define new skill requirements and assess potential candidate fit.
. Mentor and develop the technical skills of other software developers.
. Good organization, planning and time management skills with effective communication.
. Excellent leadership qualities (Implement team spirit, shared vision and goals and people development)
. Full understanding of system architectures (services, components, processes, technologies)
. Good interpersonal and influencing skills.
. Client liaison and context sensitive communication.
