- The role holder will be responsible for planning and managing the development and timely delivery of the products.
- Oversees a team of software development staff that can include leads, programmers, analysts, designers, architects and testers/QA personnel in order to achieve the deliverables.
- Experience in distributed scalable systems, web-based technologies, high volume transactional applications, object oriented methodologies, object/data modeling techniques, software development and life cycle management tools, development processes.
- Must be commercially focused and have a good understanding of Microsoft technology and the software product development life cycle.
- Good knowledge of project management tools and estimation.
- Responsibilities include managing resources, effort estimation, ensuring that schedules or project goals are met, assisting in developing required documentation, tracking progress, managing risk and ensuring that the final product meets specifications.
