Following is the Requirement:
Title: Manager – Head of Microsoft Services
Location: Cambodia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka & Malaysia
Background : One of our 5 pillars of services is “Microsoft Technologies and Infrastructure Optimization”. The services that we’d like to offer include Infrastructure Optimization (analyzing existing IT infrastructure), provide consultancy on enhancing infrastructure, deployment of Microsoft Core Technologies (Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server), and most importantly, consultancy and deployment of Microsoft Sharepoint (collaboration tool). Sharepoint is a very specialized skill set, and needs a fair amount of project experience. We do like to initiate this business in Cambodia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka & Malaysia.
We will need 4 senior people (one for each country listed above, starting with a solid profile for Malaysia), all of the similar skill set.
Role :
• Become a trusted advisor to the CIO of the client
• Drive and manage the Microsoft services business from a consulting, and delivery standpoint.
• We are not looking for a pure sales person. We are looking for a head consulting / senior architect who has a very good overall understanding of Microsoft core technologies.
• Strong in pre-sales and architecting.
• Manage engineers and consultants (who will be specialized in the specific technologies)
• Can double up as a head of Infrastructure Management practice too…
• Not just do the infrastructure optimization, but also someone who knows how to role out and implement the Microsoft CORE products
Requirements:
• Strong background and SOLID experience in core Microsoft technologies and products, with infrastructure architecting experience, and consulting experience
• Ability to consult and recommend changes to IT architecture at the top level, so must have an overall understanding of components of infrastructure
• Ability to provide key recommendations on products needed to solve IT needs of a company, and hence must have good problem solving and communication skills (he/she will be speaking with decision makers)
• Very strong IT Background
• Project Management Experience
• Ability to manage IT engineers
• Can engage customer in pre-sales. Hence, not a pure techy.
• Experience in IMS.
• Self motivated, and entrepreneurial to the extent that he will be driving a new division. Of course, he will get sales support, and IT team will be built as we get projects.
• Very grounded and hands-on person.
Logistics :
• Must be willing to relocate to the stated markets
• Accommodation will be provided
• Semi-expat package will be provided.
• No age restriction.
• Should not have too many children as that will drive up relocation and schooling cost. Ideally one child, and young child.
