Responsibilities:
Technical Project Manager to manage J2EE and allied technology projects to build BD/IAS technology platform. Responsible for managing team of 20 which includes Team Leads and Developers. Responsible for managing relationship with Product Development, QA, GTI, Architecture Office and CTO groups. This Technical Project Manager will report into a USA based Senior Technical Project Manager.
Platforms:
Must be proficient in UNIX, XP/Vista and LINUX.
Technologies:
1. Strong in using Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project.
2. Thorough understanding of SDLC methodologies.
3. Strong in J2EE technology knowledge base with ability to guide team through architecting, designing, development of the project life cycle.
4. Should be able to translate requirements to technical design.
5. Good experience in using UI design patterns, UML, OO concepts.
6. Familiarity with Server side framework such as Spring.
7. Strong in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point.
Programming Skills:
1. Good knowledge in J2EE technologies: RIA technologies, Core java, Enterprise Java Beans, JMS, Web Services, XML
2. Proficiency with SQL and database stored procedure programming is a plus
Business Knowledge:
Financial services industry is a plus.
Project Experience:
Must have Ten to Twelve years of total Experience with at least Four years experience in Project Management delivering enterprise systems using J2EE or allied technologies. Very good interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and lead the team.
Communication Skills:
Must have excellent oral and written skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level.
