Job Description::Responsibilities:* Partner with Solution Delivery, our COE SDK users, Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Dev & Test in analyzing requirements, analyzing data impacts, proposing designs, developing 1 page specs, fleshing these out to detailed designs, and finally driving the designs to completion through Feature Team virtual team leadership across PM, Dev, and Test.
* Engage solution delivery managers and COE engineers effectively building a 'trusted advisor' relationship with these teams through consistent on-time, on–budget delivery
* Act as the virtual team owner of your feature through the SDLC, balancing resources, schedule, scope, and commitments required to deliver the feature
* Coordinate deliverables and dependencies with other groups to hit project milestones
* Build cross-team coordination and a community with other engineers relating to challenges & opportunities in the areas of master data management
* Effectively report on the status of your feature/design through all phases of the SDLC
Qualifications
* 9+ years of IT/Product Engineering experience, 5 years of core software engineering experience, and 2+ years operating in a complex, multi-system customer data mastering environment
* Experience with shipping at least 2 full product releases, from release inception through post go live support
* Excellent project management skills and extensive IT project management experience with complex projects, with a track record of successful launches on time and within budget
* Past programming experience in Microsoft technologies –or- programming/customization experience with other MDM technologies (3rd party)
*Excellent communication, client relationship skills, and customer experience focus
* Demonstrated passion for quality and attention to detail
* Effective time management in complex situations
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across groups and all management levels
* Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Ability to effectively deal with ambiguous situations
* Ability to effectively communicate using multiple medias to present ideas
* Ability to influence without authority
Other helpful skills for this position include:
* Experience/background in 3rd party Customer Data Integration (CDI) tools
* Experience/background in Data Warehousing tools
* Experience with 3rd party Data Standardization tools
* .NET programming experience, particularly WCF
* Ability and willingness to work in a team environment and report daily, weekly, and monthly status
* High degree of professionalism, especially when faced with critical and intense situations
* BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, engineering or a related field; MBA preferred
