Job Description: Looking for a well-rounded Java Technical Lead with strong Java/J2EE experience and excellent skills in all aspects of developing web applications and leading a development team. Programming, requirements gathering and scoping skills will be equally important in this role. The ideal candidate will be a team player with 10-15 years of experience in developing applications and leading teams of developers. This position requires an in depth understanding of the web technologies and expert knowledge with Object Oriented methodologies.
Duties:
Serve as the main Java Technical Lead for cross-team Java development.
Lead the requirements gathering, analysis, and design of new Java systems.
Lead the analysis, selection, and integration of the appropriate technologies to introduce these new applications to their target users.
Delegate tasks across analysts and hold them accountable for the deliverables.
Support existing and future Web Order Processing applications.
Mentor and develop the skills of the junior members of the team in the areas of Java development.
Experience and Skills:
The ability to work independently and handle concurrent multiple projects is required.
Must be very deadline oriented, flexible and proficient in technologies and skills listed below:
* 10-15 years of experience in Object Oriented Software Analysis & Design, Development & Implementation of enterprise systems using Java and J2EE Technologies.
* 10-15 years specifically in the development of mission critical web based applications utilizing Java, J2EE, STRUTS, SPRING, EJB, JSP, Servlets, RMI, JDBC, JNDI, JNI, Java Beans.
* Experience with Servlets based and STRUTS based multi tier applications.
* Experience with Enterprise Java Beans (EJB's) -- Session, Entity and Message Driven Beans.
* Experience in analysis & design using UML (Rational Rose).
* Experience in configuration and administration using ATG Dynamo 7.1, WebSphere App server.
* Experience working with Relational Database Oracle 9x/10x
* Specialized in using IDEs like Eclipse, IBM Web Sphere Application Developer 5.0, Jbuilder 10.0.1 and Eclipse3.0.
* Expertise in HTML, JHTML, DHTML and JavaScript.
* Functionally proficient in performing business process analysis, gathering and analyzing requirements, creating design specifications, unit test plans and system test plans, testing, development, and production support.
* Exceptional ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts and technologies.
* Excellent communication skills, creative problem solver, positive listener and team player.
