Experience: 5 - 10 years

Skills Required:
- Good Communication Skills
- Very Good Documentation Skills, Experience writing End-user documentation
- DB2 UDB Administrator
- Installing, configuring, upgrading, trouble shooting, Backup and Recovery, db2 governor, db2move. DB2 UDB v9 is a priority over v8.
- Experience in defining and writing utilities and scripts for day to day DBA activities
- Performance Tuning
- Experience in a large enterprise support environment utilizing industry best practices and mature processes
- SQL programming
- Unix Shell Scripting, Perl
- Operating systems(AIX, Linux, Solaris)
- Experience in impact analysis of Database migrations, Implementation of database migrations
- Maintaining the high availability of the systems
- Clustered DB configurations and what is required at OS, HW, storage, Network level
