Designation - Technical Architect
Job Description:
You will work as a part of the development organization, designing and developing Metric Stream's Enterprise Compliance Platform. You will work with the development tea! m on platform's server side components, adding new features a! nd enhan cing existing features. You will report to the Development Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop Platform features using Java, J2EE, Ajax, Oracle, SQL
2. Develop integration adaptors/components (SOA)
3. Develop server-side framework and refactor code
4. Develop client-side framework using WEB 2.0 technologies and widgets
5. Write design documents for components, participate and lead in code reviews, design reviews
6. Will need to be a thought leader and be able to influence the teams that work with the Platform team – Executive Management, Application Development, Product Management, QA, and Support
Job Requirements:
1. More than 6 years of experience in developing software systems
2. Experience with Java, J2EE, Ajax, Oracle, SQL, Oracle RDBMS and HTML
3. Strong understanding of n-tier web architecture. Strong understanding of Web Server Security
4. Experience with J2EE application servers such as Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, IBM WebSphere and Oracle Application Server
5. Should have hands on experience in design patterns
6. Architecture and Design of Enterprise Application Development
7. Experience in performance tuning and framework development will be a plus
8. Strong object oriented analysis and design skills
9. Experience in enterprise application integration
10. Bachelor's degree in computing or computer/engineering related discipline
11. Strong written and oral communication skills
