It islooking for Product Development Lead / Manager with the following skills.
Key functions:
- Product Management - Define features for the product. Work with the UI team to make mockups which development team can work on - Make requirement specifications in detail.
- Project Delivery - Help development team with technical knowledge to design the module. Work with them on critical issues. Help technical team to meet delivery timelines.
- Hiring plan - Find gaps in team and work with Technical head to open positions and participate in the hiring process.
- Mentorship - Help new candidates to understand the work and make plan to make sure they are able to contribute significantly.
- Customer Feedback (Optional) - Reply to emails sent by customers to sales regarding timelines. Talking to sales and customers to find things which will make product better.
Technical Skills:
- 4-7 years of Java web or desktop application development experience using the following skills
- Java and J2EE, Struts, HTML, DHTML, XML, Java Script, CSS, JSP, Servlets, EJB, mySQL, JBoss,
- Knowledge in some design Patterns
- Knowledge in Web Services / SOA
Other Skills:
- Attention to details and quality and strong written verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate technical information to business users with ability and willingness to proactively interact creatively and achieve results in a dynamic environment
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and self-motivated, result oriented and able to successfully manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
- Ability to balance day to day priorities without losing sight of the “big picture”
- Entrepreneurial thinking and ability to be flexible
- Experience in Requirement gathering, Effort estimation, Planning and monitoring is preferred.
